Lonesome Creek Farms is rooted in the South Carolina Lowcountry, where the forest, water, soil, and seasons shape what we grow. Our farm is a quiet place for seasonal flowers, farm-grown goods, and a slower way of working with the land.
A place shaped by the Lowcountry.
Lonesome Creek Farms is set within the Francis Marion National Forest, among the pines and along a Carolina Bay tied to the French Quarter Creek watershed. The farm is shaped by quiet woods, seasonal water, sandy Lowcountry soil, and the slower rhythm of this place.
John and Lynnette Gardner purchased the Lonesome Creek property in 1997 and shaped it into a family homestead and gathering place. Today, co-owners Marty Gardner and John Murray are carrying Lonesome Creek Farms forward through seasonal flowers, farm-grown offerings, and care for the land we call home.
What we grow
Our work centers on seasonal flowers, fresh-cut bouquets, flower subscriptions, and small farm-grown offerings released as the season allows. Everything we grow is shaped by the weather, the soil, and the rhythm of the farm.
